Chicken angaara is on my “most-liked dish” list. Its an easy chicken recipe and fascinates your diners. Their main curiosity revolves around the smoky aroma and charcoal flavour of the dish thats how the dish gets its name. Chicken angaara is also slightly spicy, hence the use of curd and tomatoes. Since this is a boneless chicken recipe, its simple and is quick, making it an ideal dish to present to guests. Surprisingly, the recipe is a little tricky to find on the internet. Yet another reason its on Cukzy. So give it a go!\r

As the recipe title suggest its hot and spicy chicken recipe that is great for all non-vegetarians who loves spicy foods. Its dry chicken curry, in this recipe use of kashmiri chilli paste gives particularly spicy taste and texture. You can also give charcoal smoke to Chicken Angara for barbecued aroma.\r

*My 1 tbsp Oil = 50 ml or (One Ladle = 50 ml)\r

* 500 grm Chicken with Bone (cut into medium pieces)\r
* 4 Red Chilies\r
* 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds\r
* 1 tspn whole black peppercorns\r
* 1/2 tbsp Coriander Seeds\r
* 3 Cloves\r
* 200 grm Yoghurt/Curd\r
* 3 Tomato puree\r
* 3 medium size finely chopped Onion\r
* 15 Almond paste\r
* 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste\r
* Thin strips of Ginger for garnishing\r
* 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder\r
* 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder\r
* 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder\r
* Salt to taste\r
* 1 tbsp Fresh Coriander leaves chopped\r
* 1 teaspoon Ghee\r
* 3 inches big 1 Charcoal\r
* 1 tsp Orange red food color\r
* 3 teaspoons Fresh cream\r
